"Really regret choosing this school! Do your research and read the reviews! This school is so unprofessional! It seems like they found their teachers wandering around outside. I've learned nothing the entire time I've been here. Everyone was so nice and helpful when I was signing up for this trap, but now that I started the program, they're rude and useless. As soon as you start classes the tuition will increase. So, just pay the extra money and choose a better school! Talk to current students if you can get an honest opinion of the school. I never leave reviews, but I want people to know my experience before signing up."

"The kenosha location is terrible, don't waste your money. they will drain you off your money and throw you out. after you have completed the nursing requirements they give students F for not passing the predictor which is not require for nursing. the predictor only help students see how they will perform on nclex to get their license. they stop students from graduating because of the predictor and also messed the grade sheet up with F's good luck to people who choose to go to Herzing university. terrible school.. RUN....RUN...RUN.."

"I would not recommend this school to anyone. Especially, for the Kenosha campus, the dean and other administrators always say they are there to help but they basically will tell you, you are on your own. For the Kenosha campus, I have only had one good professor and the others have been zero help. Please save your time and money and go to a better nursing program."

"I am a current student at the Kenosha Campus. I would not recommend this school to anyone. The teachers are good nurses but bad teaches. They do not teach you anything that on the tests you take so you study the wrong information an fail. They call students out in front of class and if you point out mistakes they dont care. You are paying all this money to learn nothing. I am looking into other schools because they do not care about you. They just want your money. Have you looked at the graduation rate. Its low and when you look at the rate of the school when applying for finical aid its low. They keep changing the program and not teaching the students right. Waste of money. I only went to this school since its 3 years instead of 4 but its not worth it"

"I have been going to this school since the Covid and while I see others saying good things about this school in other states I have to say that their Brookfield/Milwaukee school is anything but great! First their requirement that if you fail two classes and your out of the program is absolutely ridiculous especially given that they cannot do clinical or attend classrooms. Every student isn’t good at virtual Learning so this is something they need to change given the Covid situation. They are teaching things that don’t apply to medicine today but rather old school. The fact that they are not willing to revisit this two fail and out of the program tells me that they are setting many students up for failure. The good thing is that they are not the only school you can attend for nursing. From what I have seen they are teaching them things that doctors do from an examination perspective. I’ve never had an RN do anything except take my vitals when I go for an exam or am in the hospital. Why is that? If you have a choice go somewhere else where the focus really is on what RNs do. This school makes it very hard to graduate and their requirements are definitely not setting the students up for success. And ask yourself why do they have such a low graduation percentage! Steer clear of this institution if you can!"

"Initially when I read the reviews for Herzing, the majority stated, "this school is all about money" and "they will fail you". I went ahead and joined in anyway because of the family feel the campus gave to me (Minneapolis, MN) and they were very willing to accept credits that I've taken >5 years. It was hard for me to accept taking part-time each semester because I had a lot of credits transferring over from my LPN program and Associates degree but I was actually able to manage my life with school. Now I will only do part-time in future education! During the first trimester of the program my son was diagnosed with Leukemia. Even though I was part-time, school seemed impossible but the faculty was very supportive. With that said, they did hold a standard expectation of me and I did my part as a student. To simplify things, this school will fail you if you do not give them 100%. They will give you the best if you show them dedication. Unfortunately, I've watched close colleagues fail and put a lot of blame towards the faculty but a lot of it had to do with their efforts. I also like how they work on professionalism which has shaped me to be on time! One downside I will add is that they're kind of micro-managers. They are in charge of your schedule; you have to get permission to take more or less courses, and they will more than likely make you take less. This is because they want to make sure you do pass! It is a little frustrating though. Overall, I graduated with a 3.4 GPA and passed my NCLEX-RN first try!"

"Hello all! I would like to start out by saying all Herzing campuses may not be created equal. This review is solely upon the Kenosha, WI campus. While I am grateful to have a BSN program in the area where I reside, it comes with a price. And no I don't mean Herzing's core value PRICE model. I have attended other school in pursuit of my nursing degree but ultimately wanted my BSN so I chose to go to Herzing. My experience at Herzing-Kenosha has be horrible. There is a huge lack of communication, requirements and rules change on the drop of a dime at any given moment during your semesters, there are limited resources in hands on learning, lack of direction, a huge faculty turn over rate and faculty member continuously changing roles within the campus, and last be not least clinical placement for students is never guaranteed. There is continuous excuses for the shortcomings of this campus. I feel when you are paying over $700 per credit hour, these types of things are unacceptable. We are told to be grateful for what we are given. I can honestly say, that I graduate in five short months and feel like the most unprepared bachelor trained nurse. Herzing does a good job with organizing events and lunch and learns to raise student moral but this does not make up for the awful, stressful, uncertain experience you will have attending this campus location."

"I have the best experience with Herzing University. All the staff were very helpful. They have the great program that fitted my schedule and made it possible for me to start and finished. Most of all, the faculty were very patient, knows what you need, and assisted me from day one until I passed NCLEX. They are the best!"

"This is quite possibly the most unorganized institution that I have ever encountered. I explored different options prior to enrolling in the BSN program and I absolutely feel as if I made a horrible decision. I am working on transferring out of this program due to the poor treatment from every member of administration that I have encountered. Now, don't get me wrong, the teaching staff is absolutely amazing. They are clearly dedicated and compassionate members of the healthcare field. However, the admissions staff and student service staff are terrible. I'm assuming this is the exact reason why the turnover for the teaching staff is so high. My recommendation to any prospective students - please go elsewhere."

"This is the worse nursing school. I get it nursing school is not supposed to be easy. But this nursing program in Madison, WI...they have no idea what they are doing. Every semester is different, the Dean of nursing makes up rules each semester. It’s hard to learn in this kind of environment. She’s rude & does not follow the price model. She should be the First to follow the price model. They don’t care about students who pay a lot of money to attend the program. Run!"

I made it!!! But oh, how frustrating!!!

"I recently finished the BSN program at the Orlando campus. First and foremost, it was challenging and I am proud to say that I have finished. Thankfully, securing a job at a local hospital with a degree from this school is easy. Does the school prepare you for the NCLEX and give you the tools you need to be successful? Yes, it does. On the other hand, you have to have thick skin to attend this program. You need thick skin in general to work in the field of nursing so if you are up for a frustrating battle this may be the school for you. I started Herzing in 2015 with my prerequisites and entered the nursing program in 2016. Throughout my course of study the program changed. It was frustrating for me because I recommended the school to others and sadly when they entered the program, the things that I had previously stated to them had changed. I kept my head in the game and continued. I finished the program without having to repeat any courses. The program has a hand full of great professors. Some great ones have recently left as well. The program is also full of professors that are actively working on higher degrees. Sounds good, however, you are not a priority to these professors and your work is not graded in real-time (with the exception of 1 or 2). Despite bad reviews, the bad professors remain and the good ones tend to leave. You will get to know who genuinely cares. Some should be car salesmen because of the song and dance they put on. Remember my comment about thick skin. Just smile and make it out of there. Now that I have finished, let's talk about the customer service. The school prides itself on the P.R.I.C.E. of success model. I'm pretty certain that the P stands for professionalism, the R for respect, and the E for engagement. If the students are made to follow this, then why aren't the professors held to the same standards. As a recent graduate, your emails will go unanswered. Where is the assistance with registering for the NCLEX? It is obvious that there are internal issues going on and the students/recent nursing graduates are suffering. Where is the communication? Where is the customer service? Where is this P.R.I.C.E model that is supposedly followed? I am extremely frustrated as I type this review. I wish it could be better but this school has left a bad taste in my mouth. This is not my first rodeo. I have other degrees under my belt. The corporate office needs to seriously look into what is going on at the Orlando campus. The school has a good reputation at the hospitals and the students get jobs afterwards. However, the amount of unprofessionalism that students have to deal with, while paying good money, is not necessary. So, if you are looking for a nursing program that is challenging, always changing, with kind & caring professors mixed with others that should not be employed, that lacks customer service, a school with poor communication and customer service, but a good shot at getting a job upon graduation, this may be the school for you. If you hear of any other nursing programs in the area that promise a smoother transition into the field of nursing, try there first. The school was convenient for me in terms of distance and I worked full-time for most of the program. I feel happy and blessed to have this degree. Now, if I can only get responses to my emails and get registered for the NCLEX I would be happier. I beg of the corporate office to please do customer service training with the employees of the Orlando campus!!! Do I recommend this school to others? Yes, but with strong reservations."

"Racism, severely disorganized, unprofessional, higher-ups retaliate against students, lack of resources... I mean the list can go on and on. This school is not worth your time and money. I knew I would be paying a lot to go here, but this school acts just like a fraudulent insurance company; they take all your money and they don't follow through with supplying you with everything you need in order to succeed. Car insurance companies behave like that: you get rear-ended, good luck with getting your insurance company to handle it. It took an act of having a lawyer to get the car insurance to cooperate with me. If you plan to enroll here, please make sure you know of a good educational lawyer in case you need him/her later on. This school is a scam and they will rip you off. They've charged us for software that we aren't even allowed to use. There's already a handful of people looking to sue Herzing University due to negligence and fraud. Steer clear and do not come here. We had great professors and the problem was that if the professors advocated for us students, the Herzing higher-ups would get pissed and retaliate against the professors by firing them. It's the same old s***, different day routine every semester at this campus in Atlanta. They know exactly what they're doing, but they hope we are dumb enough to not realize it. Do you really want to attend a shady school like that? Please run away while you can! RUN!"

"I enjoyed the program that I attended for several different reasons; the size of the classrooms was the biggest factor for me. I have found through attending several universities in the past that I do not do well with a large class size. Herzing was the opposite of that. Each class size was small and personal and it allowed me the chance to interact with my professors without any embarrassment of asking a "dumb question." I felt compelled to learn and enhance my education to my absolute fullest while at Herzing and I know that I will carry that with me into my future career as a nurse."
