Golpe 2: Los payasos de Burger King

El mítico payaso de McDonalds fue el protagonista del spot publicitario de Burger King. En el año 2017, con motivo de la fiesta de Halloween, promovieron el mensaje «¡Vístete de payaso, come como un rey!». Si lo hacías, te llevabas un whopper gratis. En el vídeo se relata una historia donde un niño huye de los payasos de McDonalds, los cuales están ansiosos por comer hamburguesas de Burger King.

Golpe 3: Omnipresencia de McDonalds

McDonalds llevó a cabo un ejemplo práctico de su omnipresencia, como Dios. Comparó lo cerca que está de sus clientes cuando estos lo necesitan, a diferencia de Burger King que se encuentra a kilómetros de distancia. Un mensaje enfocado en la accesibilidad y acompañamiento al cliente. De hecho, como se relata en el spot, McDonalds se presenta como un elemento familiar y de compañía cuando estás viajando.
