Can you bring food into Parx Casino? ›

You will not smoke within the Parx Venue, including, without limitation, smoking any tobacco, vapor, marijuana, or electronic smoking devices. Outside food and beverages are not permitted in the Parx Venue. Options are available within the venue.

*Note that outside alcoholic beverages are not permitted, and coolers are checked upon entry. PARX Racing is also a fantastic choice for hosting private parties, birthdays, corporate events, and Picnic Grove gatherings.

About Parx Race Track

Sitting on 417 acres, the Parx Racetrack backstretch houses 1,400 horses. The main track is a 1 mile oval with 7f and 1-1/4 mile chutes comprised of sand, clay and loam, and a 974 foot long stretch that is 80 feet wide. The turf course is 7f with a 1 1/8 mile chute.

Parx Racing, formally Philadelphia Park, was known as Keystone Racetrack from its opening day on November 4, 1974 until International Thoroughbred Breeders (ITB) purchased the Bensalem Oval on December 28, 1984 for approximately $40,000,000.

A day or night at the tracks averages between six to nine horse races, with each race taking place every 25-30 minutes.
